Welcome to the world of full-stack engineering!

I'm Denys Redko

Full Stack Developer

I’m a software engineer experienced in building secure, scalable, and high-performing software solutions. I’ve contributed to impactful projects at industry-leading companies such as Standard & Poor’s and Argus Media, where I played a key role in developing robust platforms tailored to complex business needs.

My work blends deep technical insight with a strong understanding of product usability and system architecture. Whether collaborating with cross-functional teams or driving initiatives independently, I focus on creating solutions that are reliable, efficient, and thoughtfully designed.

Report Generation Tool

This project involved building a cloud-hosted PDF Report Generation Tool capable of dynamically aggregating and visualizing data from multiple databases. The system allowed users to design reports and export them in PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats using Adobe PDF Services API.

Responsibilities and Achievements

As a Full-Stack Developer, I was responsible for the end-to-end development and delivery of this solution, including:

  • Implementing the Blazor-based frontend, enabling users to edit content with a live preview.
  • Developing backend services using .NET Core, and integration with Adobe PDF tools.
  • Integrating and managing multiple data sources including PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
  • Deploying the entire application on AWS.
Key Features
  • Multi-format export: Supports PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats
  • Customizable layouts: Dynamic block-based styling and drag-and-drop ordering
  • Live data preview: Enables visual confirmation before generating final reports
  • Data aggregation: Integrates with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Elasticsearch) databases
  • Scalable deployment: Cloud-hosted on AWS with monitoring and auto-scaling capabilities

Distributed Data Exchange Architecture

In this project, I implemented the DataMesh approach for company data exchange (10k+ event’s every day), enabling decentralized data ownership and self-serve data infrastructure.

DataMesh is a modern architectural paradigm designed to address challenges in scaling data systems by shifting from a centralized data lake model to a domain-driven, distributed data architecture.

Key Features
  • Domain-Oriented Data Ownership – Teams own their own data as a product. Emphasis on discoverability, useability, trustworthiness.
  • Common Data Infrastructure – Offers platform-level automation and tooling for publishing, discovery, access management, and processing of data. Teams are able to onboard, publish, and use the data independently.
  • Event-Driven Architecture – Facilitates real-time data exchange with the help of AWS EventBridge in data state and CRUD events. Provides loose decoupling of producers from consumers.
  • Scalability and Decentralization – Does not have bottlenecks of central repositories or data warehouses. Scales with team/domain count. Resistant to organizational growth or change.
